Jesse Metcalfe said he was “oblivious” to rumored behind-the-scenes drama between the female leads of “Desperate Housewives” during a panel at the Southfork Experience on August 9.
The actor, who played teenage gardener John Rowland, said “I was just happy to have a job” when reflecting on his experience.
Throughout the show’s eight-season run, there were persistent rumors of feuds among the leading female cast including Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, and Nicolette Sheridan.
Metcalfe’s character had an affair with Longoria’s Gabrielle Solis on the ABC series.
