Austin Sosa is done waiting. The estranged husband of actress Jamie King has filed legal documents asking a judge to grant a default divorce, claiming he is tired of waiting for her to respond to the January 2026 filing. Sosa wants the court to end the marriage immediately, even though the couple has not reached any agreement.
Sosa filed for divorce in January, revealing the couple secretly wed in 2025. Now he is pushing for a default judgment. In the documents, he claims there are no assets or debts to divide and has waived his right to collect spousal support. He wants out, quickly.
The news of the divorce came just weeks after King was linked to hotelier Vikram Chatwal. King denied any romantic connection, calling the split “completely blindsiding.” She told the media she was with Sosa the day before he filed and believed they were working on their marriage.
King was previously married to producer Kyle Newman, finalizing their divorce in 2023. Her current legal battle is moving fast, and Sosa is pushing to end it by default. The court now decides if he gets his wish.
