Veteran Nollywood actor, Dele Odule, has shut down viral rumors claiming he has passed away.
The false reports recently made rounds on the internet, sparking widespread reactions. However, in a video posted on his Instagram page, the actor reassured fans that he is alive and well.
“There is nothing wrong with me. I’m very much alive. I don’t know why someone would wish me dead. This is uncalled for, barbaric, and not fair.”
Dele Odule also addressed another baseless allegation—a claim that he was arrested for child molestation. Expressing his frustration, he dismissed the rumor and questioned the motives behind such false accusations.
“What for? Don’t try to bring me down. If you come at me, you are coming at God because you’re not fighting me but God.”
The actor’s response comes as yet another instance of celebrities falling victim to fake news, with fans relieved to hear directly from him.
