Amid swirling rumors, popular Nigerian media personality Nedu Wazobia has debunked claims that he was fired from the hit podcast, ‘The Honest Bunch.’

During a recent press conference, Nedu set the record straight, emphasizing that his departure was voluntary and not due to any forced removal.

Nedu: “I Left So the Show Could Go On”

Addressing the controversy, Nedu explained:

“Every opinion shared on this platform is the opinion of the guest, not the show itself. Everyone has the right to an opinion and the right to report. Let me straighten something out—I was not fired from The Honest Bunch. I was never fired. I decided to step away when the attacks became very personal so that the show could go on.”

Sex-for-Roles Allegations and Social Media Firestorm

Nedu’s exit follows a series of allegations made by social media activist VeryDarkMan, who claimed that Nedu allegedly requested sex from women in exchange for movie roles. He further threatened to expose a list of celebrities Nedu had allegedly been involved with.

While the claims ignited heated debates online, Nedu has chosen not to respond directly to VeryDarkMan’s accusations.

What’s Next for Nedu?

With The Honest Bunch moving forward without him, fans are eager to see what’s next for Nedu. Will he launch a new platform, or is this just a temporary break from the spotlight? Time will tell.
