Instead, the 58-year-old star is channeling her energy into ‘Crime 101’, a high-stakes Amazon thriller where she stars alongside Marvel’s very own Chris Hemsworth (a.k.a. Thor). The film is based on Don Winslow’s novella and follows a determined detective on the hunt for a jewel thief operating along the Pacific Coast.
Berry couldn’t help but rave about her experience on set, calling it one of the best she’s ever worked on:
“The gentlemen on this film are all gentlemen — and that doesn’t always happen, so for me it was a glorious experience.”
Hemsworth Talks Heist Film Inspiration
In the same interview, Hemsworth opened up about the film’s influences, citing classics like Heat and The Thomas Crown Affair.
“It intersects three different characters from very different walks of life… It’s also sort of intellectual, with some amazing car chases. We’re very proud of it.”
