The Gucci Mane subpoena speculation is heating up after 6ix9ine weighed in on the federal case against Pooh Shiesty. Fresh off his recent release from prison, the controversial rapper went live on a stream with Neon over the holiday weekend and delivered a stark prediction about what’s coming next. According to 6ix9ine, 6ix9ine predicts Gucci Mane testimony is not a matter of if, but when, because the federal government has a tool that nobody can refuse.

“They are going to subpoena Gucci Mane,” 6ix9ine explained during the stream. He laid out exactly how the legal mechanism functions. “Once the feds subpoena you, you have to tell. You have to. If not, you go to jail for obstruction of justice” . His message was clear: cooperation isn’t optional when the federal government comes calling. “This is literally how the feds work,” he added.

Pooh Shiesty was arrested last week after federal prosecutors charged him and eight others in connection with a January 2026 armed robbery in Dallas. The feds allege that Shiesty organized a meeting under the guise of discussing his 1017 Records contract. Instead, prosecutors say he and his co-conspirators held Gucci Mane at gunpoint, forcing him to sign paperwork releasing Shiesty from his deal.

Paperwork has surfaced suggesting that Gucci Mane may have already assisted federal investigators in identifying Shiesty and rapper Big30. Other reports indicate that it was actually the cameraman present during the ambush, also a victim, who chose to cooperate. But 6ix9ine dismisses the distinction. Regardless of who initially provided information, he believes Gucci Mane will have no choice but to take the stand when the case goes to trial.

The stakes could not be higher for Pooh Shiesty. If convicted on the federal kidnapping and armed robbery charges, he faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life behind bars. The case has already moved forward, with a federal judge finding probable cause to support the charges against Shiesty and his co-defendants .
