Grace Lilly’s Latest Arrest Triggered by Lab Test Results

A routine traffic stop from December has come back to haunt Southern Hospitality star Grace Lilly. The Bravo personality was arrested on March 10 after laboratory tests confirmed that pills found in her purse three months earlier contained clonazepam, commonly known as Klonopin. The Grace Lilly arrested Klonopin pills connection emerged when police received the official lab results in late February.

The 27-year-old reality star was pulled over in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina back in December for an illegal lane change. During that stop, officers discovered a small container in her purse labeled “Happy Pills” holding a dozen white pills and half of a blue pill. At the time, Lilly claimed the white pills were birth control, and the blue ones were her prescribed Xanax.

The December arrest initially centered on an outstanding warrant for second-degree harassment involving an ex-boyfriend. No drug charges were filed that night because officers couldn’t immediately identify the pills. Lilly was released after booking, and the mysterious white pills were sent to a lab for analysis.

Those lab results came back in late February with a finding Lilly didn’t expect. The 12 white pills contained clonazepam, a controlled substance used to treat anxiety and seizure disorders. Possessing the medication without a valid prescription is illegal in South Carolina. A warrant for her arrest was issued on March 2, leading directly to her March 10 booking.

Lilly now finds herself arrested twice in less than 90 days. Her March 10 mugshot shows the star in a white and green top, dark hair falling past her shoulders. She was released later that day after posting a $10,575 bond.

Court records show she’s due back before a judge on May 1 for an initial appearance, with a second hearing scheduled for August 21. Both stem from the December traffic stop and its aftermath.

The timing couldn’t be more dramatic for Lilly’s television career. Season four of Southern Hospitality premiered March 4, just days before her latest arrest. Sources confirm that her struggles with substances will unfold on screen as the season progresses, giving viewers an unfiltered look at what’s been happening behind the scenes.

Lilly has been part of the Southern Charm spinoff since its 2022 premiere, working at Leva Bonaparte’s Republic nightclub alongside a cast of Charleston twenty-somethings navigating life, love, and drama. Her real-life legal troubles now threaten to overshadow her on-screen persona.

The former Republic employee faces a misdemeanor possession charge that could carry consequences beyond her court dates. Her past includes a 2016 arrest for crack cocaine manufacturing and distribution charges that were later dismissed. Whether this latest brush with the law leads to similar dismissal or something more serious depends on what evidence surfaces in court.

For now, Lilly remains free on bond while cameras roll on a season that promises to capture reality at its most raw.
