The Gayming Awards, the world’s only LGBTQ+ video game awards, is set to make a grand return for its fifth edition on July 8, 2025. This year, the event has secured a major global broadcast deal with WOW Presents Plus, the renowned streaming platform behind the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise.
Gayming Magazine, which launched the awards in 2019, aims to make the event even bigger by expanding its reach and adding two new categories:
• LGBTQ+ Voice Actor of the Year – recognizing outstanding performances in video games.
• Community Impact Award – honoring individuals or groups making a difference in the LGBTQ+ gaming space.
With a total of 13 award categories, the event will continue to celebrate authentic representation, diversity, and LGBTQ+ contributions in gaming.

A Bigger and Bolder Celebration
The 2024 edition of the awards saw Baldur’s Gate 3 dominate as Game of the Year, while Thirsty Suitors earned recognition as a standout indie title. With the 2025 show set to stream on WOW Presents Plus, Gayming Magazine founder Robin Gray hopes the event will continue to unite the gaming and LGBTQ+ communities on a larger scale.
