Erica Raven has issued a statement following rapper NLE Choppa’s very public apology and efforts to reconcile after the couple’s split earlier this month.
The former Baddies Gone Wild cast member first announced the end of their engagement on August 6 in an emotional Instagram video. She explained that she had given the relationship her all, saying she “did the best to be the best fiancée” and gave “as much love as I can”. Raven noted she would be “moving forward by my lonesome, focusing on myself” while still sending him “support and prayers”. She also made it clear she holds “no ill will” toward her ex.
On August 28, NLE Choppa shared a lengthy Instagram post acknowledging his role in the breakup. He wrote, “I apologize for not living up to this picture. The sweetest girl ever. It’s no excuse for me mishandling you. I’m accountable, I can be better, and I’m man enough to admit that”. The rapper, real name Bryson LaShun Potts, also pleaded, “Don’t let me go, not yet, don’t give up on me yet, pretty girl, I’m learning”. He added that his grandmother is “mad at me about this cause she know you the one”.
Raven has not publicly indicated whether she is open to reconciliation. Her previous statement emphasized that she is focusing on herself and has been through a “rough 3 weeks”. While she appreciates the support from fans, her most recent message remains one of self-prioritization and healing after the highly publicized split.
