Drake isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Fresh off the success of $exy $ongs 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR, the Canadian rap icon just dropped a major bombshell during a Kick livestream with Adin Ross — he’s already working on another new album.

“It’s a Slap”
While thanking fans for streaming $$4U, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its February release, Drake casually revealed that his next body of work is already in motion.
“Thank you to everybody that’s streaming the album. Every time, every journey. Working on a new album — it’s a slap,” he said, clearly excited about what’s to come.
The announcement caught Adin Ross off guard, with the popular streamer visibly shocked at Drake’s quick return to the studio.

Back-to-Back Drake Eras
Drake’s been on an undeniable streak:
• In 2023, he dropped For All the Dogs, an ambitious solo project that sparked endless conversation.
• Then came $exy $ongs 4 U in February 2025, a sensual collaboration with longtime OVO collaborator PARTYNEXTDOOR that took over charts and playlists worldwide.
• Now, less than two months later, Drizzy’s gearing up for his next era.

Merch Tease and Festival Vibes
In true Drake fashion, he made the announcement while rocking $$4U-themed merch, hinting at possible drops fans can expect soon. With fashion always intertwined with his music rollouts, don’t be surprised if a new capsule lands alongside the upcoming album.
Drake also gave a heartfelt shoutout to his fanbase and hyped his upcoming headlining performance at London’s Wireless Festival this July:
“Shout out to everybody that’s been showing us love, though, for real. On every song. Shout out to everybody that’s coming to Wireless. We love you so much.”

What’s Next?
While no official release date has been announced, fans can rest easy knowing that Drake’s next chapter is already loading. Whether it continues the moody, R&B-heavy vibes of $$4U or switches gears completely, one thing is clear — The Boy stays working.
Stay tuned. Champagne Papi season continues.
