Luxury retail just became an experience. Dior is launching the House of Dior Shinsaibashi in Osaka on May 21, 2026. The four-story flagship is not just a store. It is an immersive space that merges retail, architecture, art, and fine dining. From the exterior to the rooftop restaurant, every detail has been designed to pull visitors deeper into the world of Dior.

Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto created the exterior. The fluid design takes inspiration from the movement of Dior’s couture fabrics. It feels soft, alive, and constantly shifting. Inside, architect Peter Marino designed a multi-level layout centered around a grand staircase. Each floor is dedicated to different collections, including accessories, womenswear, and menswear.

This is not just a place to shop. Curated installations and design works are placed throughout the building. They reflect Dior’s creative heritage and turn every corner into a discovery. The space functions as an art-focused environment as much as a retail destination.

At the top, guests will find Monsieur Dior, a restaurant led by chef Anne-Sophie Pic. The menu blends French culinary artistry with Japanese ingredients. The setting is garden-inspired, offering a peaceful escape above the busy Osaka streets. It is the perfect cap to a building that already feels like a journey.

Most luxury stores just sell clothes. This one tells a story. From Fujimoto’s flowing exterior to Marino’s dramatic staircase to Pic’s French-Japanese menu, every layer adds meaning. Dior is betting that customers want more than handbags. They want memory. And in Osaka, that is exactly what they are getting.
