On Friday, June 20, Brendan Paul, who worked with the embattled music mogul from late 2022 until March 2024, testified in Combs’ federal trial on sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related charges — and the revelations were shocking.
From Personal Trainer to Drug Courier?
According to Paul’s testimony, his role quickly shifted from handling Diddy’s diet and workouts to managing his drug needs. He claims he regularly purchased up to $4,200 worth of marijuana every two months, and was also tasked with securing cocaine, pink cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine, and more.
One of the more chilling moments? Paul said he had to sample drugs in front of Combs to “test” their safety — once ingesting 2C at a Coachella after-party to prove it was safe.
“I said yes and then I kept working,” Paul recounted.

Paul’s employment ended in March 2024 after he was arrested at a Miami airport for cocaine possession. He claimed the drugs belonged to Diddy and had been accidentally left in his bag following a trip to the Bahamas. Though the charges were later dropped, Paul said he refused to name Combs out of “loyalty.”
During cross-examination, Diddy’s legal team pushed Paul to admit that no one from Combs’ team directly instructed him to bring the drugs — something he confirmed.

To cope, Paul admitted to taking Adderall and occasionally using cocaine to stay alert.
