Jessie and D’Lila Combs are stepping into the spotlight on their own terms. The 19-year-old twin daughters of Sean “Diddy” Combs and the late Kim Porter sat down for their first major interview since their father’s conviction, making it clear they’re focused on building their own path while still supporting their dad.
In their exclusive conversation with Entertainment Tonight, the twins addressed the unique pressure of growing up in one of entertainment’s most famous families. “People fail to understand that we are also individuals,” D’Lila explained. The sisters are determined to be seen as more than just extensions of their father’s legacy.
The twins are launching their clothing line, 12TWINTY1, a name inspired by their December 21 birthday. The debut collection, called 777, a nod to being born seven minutes apart, ranges from $34 tank tops to $119 hoodies. All of their brothers appeared in the campaign, making it a true family affair.
“Just because he’s our dad doesn’t mean his press is our press,” the twins told ET. “Our press is our own press. Our clothing line is our clothing line.” Jessie added that they’ve been planning the brand for about three years, driven by a lifelong love of fashion inspired by both their parents.
The twins emphasized they remain very close with Diddy, who is currently serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. They shared that their father is “focused on becoming a better man for his family,” and a source told ET he has apologized to his daughters for his behavior shown in the Cassie assault video.
