Sean “Diddy” Combs, the music mogul and entrepreneur, has voluntarily withdrawn his bail appeal, opting to remain in federal custody until his trial, scheduled for May 5, 2025. The 54-year-old faces serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, and if convicted, he could face 15 years to life in prison.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all allegations, but his legal battles have been mounting since his arrest on September 16, 2024. Both Diddy and Jay-Z have consistently denied all accusations. Through his legal team, Diddy dismissed the claims as “fabricated attempts to tarnish his legacy.” Meanwhile, Jay-Z has labeled the lawsuit an attempt to intimidate and discredit him.
