The Davido FIFA World Cup 2026 announcement has arrived. The Nigerian Afrobeats icon will headline the Countdown Concert Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday, June 10. The live show takes place just two days before the tournament kicks off across North America.

This is more than a concert. FIFA has partnered with the Recording Academy to produce a tri-nation spectacle. While Davido commands the stage in Los Angeles with Diplo’s Major Lazer, simultaneous performances will unfold in Toronto with Wyclef Jean and in Mexico City with Los Angeles Azules. The entire event broadcasts live across FIFA’s digital platforms.

The Countdown Concert Los Angeles represents a cultural shift. Davido joins Rema, who performs at the US opening ceremony on June 12, and Burna Boy, featured on the official World Cup anthem. Nigerian music has never held this much space on global football’s biggest stage.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. PT on June 10. The live broadcast begins at 6:00 p.m. PT. Fans worldwide can stream the concert through FIFA’s official channels, including an exclusive TikTok livestream. Behind-the-scenes content and the full replay will be available on VuMe Live starting June 11.

Ticket sales launch Wednesday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. PST. The FIFA World Cup 2026 runs from June 11 to July 19 across 16 host cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. For Davido, the Countdown Concert Los Angeles is the opening note of a tournament where African music finally takes center field.
