Coi Leray is officially a mom! The rapper shared the exciting news on her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 16, posting a heartwarming photo of her newborn daughter Miyoco’s tiny hand wrapped around her finger. Though she kept the caption simple, the image said it all — baby Miyoco is here.
While Coi hasn’t made a full statement yet, she did take to X (formerly Twitter) the next day to keep things real about new mom life.
“Breastfeeding ain’t no joke,” she wrote, adding a gif of Leonardo DiCaprio crying with the caption, “It hurts!!!”
A Bumpy Road to Parenthood
Coi Leray and Trippie Redd first shared news of their pregnancy back in January, thrilling fans who were surprised to see the couple back together. The two originally dated in 2019 before calling it quits a year later, only to rekindle their relationship in 2024.
However, the journey to Miyoco’s arrival hasn’t been without drama. Just weeks after the pregnancy reveal, Coi hinted at heartbreak, sharing on Instagram:
“Nothing worst than being cheated on… I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.”
Trippie Redd also aired his frustrations in April, claiming that Coi didn’t want him or his family at her baby shower.
“And b4 the actual baby shower happens just letting yall know she doesn’t want me or my family there she said hit the lawyer,” he posted, adding that he had already covered the cost of the event.
