Chris Brown Usher Tour Announced After New Single “Obvious”

The wait is over. Chris Brown dropped his new track “Obvious” and followed it with an even bigger bombshell hours later. The Chris Brown Usher tour is officially happening.

The two R&B heavyweights announced the joint stadium run, appropriately named the R&B Tour Raymond and Brown, through a cinematic social media reveal this morning. The caption read simply: “IT’S TIME! #R&BTOUR #Raymond&Brown.”

The “Obvious” single arrived first, giving listeners a smooth, confident taste of what’s coming. The track showcases Brown’s signature blend of melody and rhythm, serving as the opening statement for his upcoming album set for release on May 8th.

Then came the announcement nobody expected. Two artists often compared and pitted against each other are now joining forces on one stage. The stadium tour follows massive solo runs from both performers. Usher just wrapped his global Past Present Future tour, while Brown completed the Breezy Bowl XX stadium tour in 2025.

Fans are already calling this the hottest ticket of 2026. And with good reason. Between Usher’s legacy hits and Brown’s catalog spanning nearly two decades, the setlist possibilities are staggering.

There is one major concern trending among supporters. Ticket prices. Brown’s last tour started around $70 for standard seats, with good seats landing between $200 and $300. Usher’s previous run followed a similar range. But a joint stadium tour of this magnitude will likely push prices higher, potentially landing good seats between $275 and $350 .

Specific dates have not been released yet. But anticipation is already electric. Two generations of R&B. Two living legends. One stage. The summer of 2026 just got a lot louder.
