Cardi B and blogger Tasha K have officially settled their long-running legal battle. A Florida bankruptcy judge approved the agreement on June 30, bringing an end to the dispute over unpaid legal fees. The rapper agreed to accept significantly less than what she originally sought.
Cardi B initially demanded over $110,000 in legal fees from the blogger. Under the new agreement, she will accept $60,000 instead. Tasha K will pay the settlement in two installments: $30,000 within 28 days of the court order and the remaining $30,000 by December 31, 2026. The reduced amount reflects Tasha K’s ongoing financial struggles.
The legal war between Cardi B and Tasha K dates back to 2019 when the blogger made false claims about the rapper. Cardi sued for defamation and won a $4 million judgment in 2022. Tasha K later filed for bankruptcy, and the legal fees dispute became the latest chapter in their bitter feud. The settlement now clears the way for both parties to move forward.
With the bankruptcy court’s approval, the settlement is now final. Tasha K has until the end of 2026 to pay off the remaining balance. Cardi B walks away with $60,000, far less than she wanted, but a resolution nonetheless. For the blogger, it’s a chance to put the legal nightmare behind her.
