Get ready, because the music world might just explode with the ultimate turn-up anthem! Bruno Mars, fresh off dominating the Billboard Hot 100 and Global 100 charts, has his sights set on a spicy new collaboration—with none other than Sexyy Red.
Bruno Wants to Celebrate Big
Bruno’s latest hits, “Die With A Smile” featuring Lady Gaga and “APT” with BLACKPINK’s Rosé, have him on cloud nine. To properly celebrate, he’s aiming to make a strip club anthem that’ll light up playlists everywhere. Taking to Instagram, he wrote:
“THANK YOU ALL! I’m headed to the studio right now to make a strip club anthem so I can celebrate and properly act up this weekend. Someone please help me get in touch with Sexyy Red!!”
Well, it didn’t take long for Sexyy Red to slide into the comments. “Heyyyyyy Bruno!” she replied, tagging him on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). Then, she amped up the energy, writing, “I heard Bruno say he lookin for ah real b***h baby I’m right hur @BrunoMars.”
Talk about chemistry already brewing before the beat even drops!
Sexyy Red x GloRilla: Another Project in the Works?
Sexyy Red isn’t stopping at just Bruno Mars. In a recent interview with GloRilla for XXL, the two stars teased the possibility of a joint project. When asked what their collab would sound like, Glo didn’t hold back: “Ratchet as f**k.”
Sexyy chimed in, saying, “It gon’ be some super ratchet sh*t. The men gon’ hate us… but really, they gon’ love it.”
These two have already proven their chemistry with their latest collab, “Whatchu Kno About Me,” which samples Boosie Badazz’s 2007 hit, “Wipe Me Down.” The music video, featuring a beauty salon turned party zone, shows just how much fun these ladies can bring to the table.
