Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Never-Ending Legal Saga Heats Up Over Château Miraval

Hollywood’s former golden couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, are locked in a courtroom drama that rivals any of their blockbuster films. From their whirlwind romance on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith to a contentious divorce and bitter legal battles, their story continues to unfold with no signs of resolution.

The latest chapter in their ongoing saga revolves around their once-shared French winery, Château Miraval. Jolie sold her stake in the winery to Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler, sparking outrage from Pitt, who insists the sale violated a prior agreement requiring mutual consent before either party could sell their shares. In response, Jolie has countersued, accusing Pitt of misusing and embezzling funds from the winery and demanding $250 million in damages.

Jolie’s legal team alleges that Pitt treated the winery as his personal “piggy bank,” diverting funds to vanity projects with little financial viability. They claim the winery’s CEO, under Pitt’s directive, funneled millions into side businesses and personal ventures. When confronted, the CEO reportedly shrugged, saying, “What am I to do? He’s my boss.”

To complicate matters further, Tenute del Mondo, the company that purchased Jolie’s shares, has accused Pitt of “criminal intent,” alleging he misappropriated funds meant for the winery to fuel his own projects, including the side business Miraval Studios. Tenute claims Pitt deliberately concealed these actions, exacerbating tensions in the courtroom.

Meanwhile, Pitt’s legal team has dismissed Jolie’s countersuit as a “desperate attempt” and argued the case should be resolved overseas. However, Tenute del Mondo insists the case belongs in California, where Pitt managed the winery’s operations.

The drama doesn’t end there. Pitt’s already strained relationship with his children continues to raise eyebrows. After allegations of a violent altercation with his kids led to their separation, two of his daughters dropped the “Pitt” surname upon turning 18, suggesting deeper familial fractures.

While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s love story once captivated the world, their ongoing legal battles have turned into a cautionary tale of love, business, and betrayal. As the Château Miraval dispute rages on, one thing is certain: this Hollywood saga is far from over.
