According to a bombshell NOTUS report, the rapper struck a deal with the pair last fall after they pitched themselves as having major pull inside Trump’s orbit, acting like they had the president “on speed dial”. When the pardon never surfaced, Boosie sought to recover $300,000 under a contract clause requiring half the fee be refunded if no pardon was delivered.
Burkman and Wohl have refused to pay, arguing that no refund agreement existed and claiming their firm is effectively bankrupt due to millions in fines from past legal troubles. The duo, who are convicted felons themselves, previously pleaded guilty to running an illegal robocall campaign targeting Black voters and have faced millions in penalties from the Federal Communications Commission.
