The legal fallout surrounding Atlanta radio personality Big Tigger continues to grow. His V-103 co-host, Francesca Amiker, has filed a defamation lawsuit against his estranged wife, Alicia Brown, over social media posts she claims falsely accused her of having an affair with the radio host.

Amiker, a four-time Emmy Award-winning journalist who joined “The Big Tigger Morning Show” in May, filed the federal lawsuit on June 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The complaint alleges Brown made false statements on Instagram using multiple anonymous accounts, claiming Amiker’s relationship with Big Tigger helped her secure her job at V-103.

According to the lawsuit, Brown posted an emotional video showing facial injuries while tagging Amiker’s account. The post included the caption, “Someone ask my husband why my face happened @francescaamiker,” which Amiker claims falsely implied she was somehow connected to violence against Brown. Brown also allegedly wrote that she and Morgan were divorcing “over his relationship with Francesca”.

Amiker insists her relationship with the radio host has always been strictly professional. She claims the posts unleashed a wave of online hate, damaged her reputation, cost her business opportunities, and forced her to hire a crisis management team.

The lawsuit includes screenshots of Instagram posts and comments, including a claim that Brown operated or controlled several anonymous accounts that spread similar accusations before commenting from her own account. Amiker also alleges Brown used the controversy to generate attention for a planned app, posting messages like “Now that I have your attention” and “#hesaidshesaid”.

The defamation lawsuit comes as Big Tigger, whose legal name is Darian Morgan, faces charges of aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children . According to police records, the charges stem from a May 9 altercation at the couple’s Sandy Springs home.

Ring camera footage obtained by law enforcement allegedly shows Morgan approaching Brown from behind, grabbing her by the neck and struggling with her before shoving her into an office door. Brown suffered a deep cut above her left eye that required stitches. The couple’s 13-year-old son was reportedly inside the home during the incident.

Morgan has denied the allegations, posting on Instagram that he “unequivocally deny every allegation that has been made against me”. He recently announced he is stepping away from his V-103 morning show to focus on his family and legal matters.

Brown has been granted a temporary protective order requiring Morgan to stay away from her and their children. In a statement, her team said she would not comment on “specific allegations,” adding that “the receipts, including text messages, evidence, and the legal process will speak for themselves”.
