Popular Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, better known as Baba Tee, has backtracked on his initial denial and admitted to having a “short” sexual encounter with comedian Ijoba Lande’s wife, Dara.
From Denial to Admission: Baba Tee’s Confession
In a live interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers, Baba Tee confessed that the incident happened during a drunken game of ‘Truth or Dare’, which involved Dara and actress Marygold.
Initially, Baba Tee had strongly denied Lande’s accusations, even challenging him to provide evidence or face legal action. However, in his latest revelation, the actor admitted that he had a brief sexual encounter with Dara, but claimed he was unaware she was Lande’s wife at the time.
The ‘Truth or Dare’ That Went Too Far
Explaining how it happened, Baba Tee said:
“Marygold introduced Dara to me as a content creator, not as Lande’s wife. That night, we started playing ‘Truth or Dare,’ and Marygold went completely naked, daring me repeatedly. She then dared Dara to let me have a quick sexual encounter with her, and she agreed. I was drunk, and I didn’t know I was being set up.”
He insisted that Marygold and Dara plotted against him, suggesting that the incident was a deliberate attempt to tarnish his reputation.
Public Apology to Lande
Following the interview, Baba Tee issued a public apology to Lande, acknowledging that his earlier denial was wrong. In a Facebook post, he wrote:
