The global stage just got bigger for Afrobeats. Ayra Starr featured on the official FIFA World Cup 2026 soundtrack, landing a spot on the most extensive music project in tournament history.
The Nigerian sensation will appear on “Show Me,” a collaboration with American rapper Latto. The track is expected to blend Ayra’s signature Afropop sound with Latto’s high-energy rap style. The song appears on the 18-track album, which FIFA officially unveiled on June 3.
The Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album brings together artists from across continents. The complete tracklist includes collaborations featuring Future and Tyla, 21 Savage with Nata Cano and French Montana, Major Lazer with Nelly Furtado and Davido, and even The Rolling Stones on a remix.
Other confirmed tracks include Shakira and Burna Boy on “Dai Dai,” LISA, Anitta and Rema on “Goals,” and Stormzy with Fridayy and Angel on “Blessings”.
Ayra Starr’s placement on the album marks another milestone for Nigerian music on the world’s biggest sporting stage. Her collaboration with Latto sits alongside work by Davido, who appears on “No Place Like Home” with Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado . The album releases June 5 and is available for pre-save across all streaming platforms.
The 2026 tournament has become a showcase for Afrobeats. Burna Boy previously released “Dai Dai” with Shakira as a central anthem. Rema features on “Goals” with LISA and Anitta, a track the trio will perform live at the Los Angeles opening ceremony on June 12.
Now Ayra Starr featured on the FIFA soundtrack adds to that momentum. Her rise follows international award success and precedes her third studio album. For a genre once overlooked by global institutions, Afrobeats has officially arrived. The World Cup album proves it.
