Ayotomide Labinjo, the mother of Anu Adeleke, has reignited controversy surrounding Nigerian music superstar Davido, alleging that he bribed a doctor to manipulate DNA test results concerning their daughter’s paternity.
This revelation comes in response to recent claims by Davido’s former lawyer, Prince Bobo, who denied that Anu is the artist’s biological child. Taking to her Instagram page, Ayotomide challenged the narrative, stating that Prince Bobo is covering for his former boss and misrepresenting the facts.
According to Ayotomide, the DNA test in question was conducted in 2014 at a small clinic under suspicious circumstances. She alleged that money exchanged hands between Davido and the doctor, identified as “Dr. Alex,” which she claims invalidates the results.
She wrote:
“We did not go to two hospitals but a small clinic where my daughter’s blood was drawn in a private room, not even a clinical lab setting. My family and I watched money change hands in a brown envelope between Mr. David Adeleke and Mr. Wale Sobola, who disguised his name as ’Dr. Alex.’”
Ayotomide also dismissed claims that multiple DNA tests had been conducted, adding that Davido’s team has refused her repeated requests for a second test to establish her daughter’s paternity.
She further clarified that she seeks no validation or support from the Adeleke family, only to confirm her daughter Anu’s rightful lineage.
“We have moved on and done well with our lives. Special thanks to all Nigerians for the kind words to Anuoluwapo.”
This development has reignited discussions online, with many calling for transparency and a conclusive DNA test to settle the matter once and for all.
