Apple Music has unveiled its much-anticipated year-end charts and Replay 2024, highlighting the biggest artists, songs, and albums of the year. Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter top the lists, cementing their places as music powerhouses in 2024.
Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us takes the crown as the most-streamed song of the year, spending a record-breaking six weeks atop the Global 100 chart despite its controversial backdrop. Taylor Swift, named the most-streamed artist of the year, dominated with The Tortured Poets Department, which claimed the title of the most-streamed album. Swift celebrated the milestone on Instagram, thanking fans: “Ahhhhhh thank you for listening to my music and TTPD so much!”
Sabrina Carpenter also had a standout year, with her hit Espresso making waves on the charts, joining an elite lineup that included Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things and Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy).
Notably, Swift’s collaboration with Post Malone, Fortnight, landed in the Top 10, showcasing her genre-spanning appeal. Other chart-toppers include Drake, Morgan Wallen, SZA, and Future, all of whom secured multiple entries on the list.
Apple Music’s Replay 2024 introduces enhanced features, allowing users to track their listening habits month by month and relive moments of discovery. The Shazam charts also revealed the most searched songs, with Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things claiming the top spot.
