The babymama of Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Abi Gram has sparked controversy, accusing the singer of neglecting their son emotionally, physically, and financially, which she claims has resulted in the boy’s hospitalization.
Taking to Instagram, she expressed her frustration, stating that she had hoped to avoid starting the year with drama but felt compelled to speak out. She recounted how their relationship took a downturn after she stood as surety for Abi Gram during a police case, only for him to abandon and gaslight her afterward.
According to her, this led to her landlord doubling her rent, prompting her to request that Abi Gram contribute half of the new amount—a request he allegedly denied. Instead, he reportedly suggested she move to his family’s home in Jos.
She further alleged that when their son returned from spending the holidays with Abi Gram’s family, he went back to school without essential supplies and wearing dirty clothes. More troubling, she claimed to have found explicit content on their son’s phone after his time with Abi Gram’s family.
In a scathing post, she accused the singer of failing to provide emotional, physical, or financial support for their son, which she says has taken a toll on the boy’s health.
Abi Gram’s romantic history has often made headlines. Last year, media personality Moet Abebe raised eyebrows by claiming she and the singer had been dating for 12 years. However, Abi Gram denied being in any relationship during an interview, citing his difficulty in finding love and calling relationships a financial strain.
Over the years, Abi Gram has been linked to several high-profile women, including Eva Alordiah, Yvonne Nelson, and Yvonne Nwosu. His most recent known relationship, with French-Ghanaian Maima, ended amid allegations of infidelity.
As the drama unfolds, fans are left wondering how Abi Gram will address these serious allegations.
