Actor Jonathan Majors is no longer facing a civil lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, who has officially dismissed her case against him. The lawsuit, filed earlier this year, accused Majors of assault and defamation, but court documents submitted on Thursday confirm it has been dropped with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled.

Jabbari’s suit alleged a “pattern of pervasive domestic abuse” during their relationship, which she claimed spanned from 2021 to 2023. In the filing, she detailed an alleged September 2022 incident in which Majors reportedly assaulted her following an argument. She also accused the Creed III actor of defaming her in a public interview after his December 2023 misdemeanor assault conviction, where he maintained his innocence and stated, “I have never laid my hands on a woman.”

Majors had been found guilty of third-degree misdemeanor assault and harassment in December 2023, resulting in a year of domestic violence counseling and probation. However, other charges, including aggravated harassment, were dismissed.

While Majors’ legal troubles have made headlines over the past year, the dismissal of Jabbari’s civil suit brings a new chapter to the ongoing narrative. Both parties have agreed to move forward, with their legal teams signing off on the case’s closure.

As Majors continues his professional journey, the resolution of this case may provide an opportunity for the actor to focus on rebuilding his career.
