New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith is facing serious allegations after a woman posted a viral video accusing him of physical assault and child neglect. The footage, shared by Instagram user @everythingkrisxo, appears to show a heated dispute at a residential property, ending with police arriving at the scene.
The woman, who identifies herself as Kristen, claims Smith attacked her off-camera after she brought his son into the house. In the video’s caption, she wrote: “GENO SMITH beat my a** cause he HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can’t be left alone with him because he’d rather watch s*x online and play Call of Duty”.
The roughly 85-second clip shows a shirtless man, believed to be Smith, walking away from the camera toward a house with a driveway and palm trees. The woman can be heard making additional accusations while sounding visibly emotional outside the residence. Smith can also be heard in the video, seemingly on the phone, saying “She just called the police”.
Additional text on the video claims Smith threw her purses, stole money from her car, and that she had been “supportive of this DEMON and his narcissistic personality disorder ALL MY DAMN LIFE”.
Kristen alleges that Smith attacked her after she took his son into the house. She claims he spends his time watching explicit videos and playing video games instead of caring for their special needs child. The video shows her running down the driveway screaming for help, and she also accuses Smith of stealing from her car.
In another clip, officers arrive at the scene, and Kristen says she pressed charges. However, no arrests were made on camera, and there have been no publicly confirmed details regarding the incident.
At this time, no police reports, charges, or official statements have been released. Smith has not publicly responded to the allegations, and the woman’s relationship to him remains unconfirmed, though she claims to be the mother of his child. The Jets organization has not issued a statement.
