Omawumi was once in a romantic relationship with music producer Dr Frabz. The duo parted ways and she walked into the arms of Tosin Yusuf with whom she had a daughter with in 2011 called Emmanuela Kamila. ‘
Baba Kamila’ as she popularly calls him proposed to Omawumi on September 13, 2014. The ‘Bottom belle’ singer spoke to Encomium Weekly in an interview on January 18, 2015 confirming her marriage. The bride spoke excitedly about her husband saying “It’s the joy of every woman to be married to the man she loves. I’m very happy and grateful to God”.
