The doors have officially closed on a major chapter of Kenya Moore’s entrepreneurial journey. On Friday, April 24, 2026, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum confirmed she has vacated the physical location of the Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta. The Kenya Moore Hair Spa salon move out April 2026 comes after a protracted and highly public legal battle with her landlord, which saw the reality star ordered to pay nearly six figures in back rent or face immediate eviction.

The move out became public knowledge after photos surfaced showing salon furniture and equipment on the street outside the Buckhead location. Moore was quick to address the situation, clarifying that her departure was a result of her own legal strategy rather than a standard eviction.

“I have spent the last several weeks moving out of my salon as a result of my ongoing legal battle with the landlord who has failed to reimburse me nearly $80K of improvement funds I am rightfully owed,” Moore told TMZ. She maintained that her decision to withhold rent was a “recourse” for the landlord’s alleged failure to pay for contractual tenant improvements.

The legal dispute, which began in October 2025, reached a boiling point in early 2026. A Georgia judge previously ordered Moore’s company, Moore Vision Media, to pay a total of $87,976 in unpaid rent and utilities. The court had set a strict payment schedule:

• First Installment: ~$44,000 due by late February 2026.

• Second Installment: ~$44,000 due by late March 2026.

According to court documents, the landlord claimed Moore failed to meet the first deadline, subsequently asking the court for immediate possession of the property. By vacating the space in April, Moore has effectively bypassed the forced eviction process while continuing to pursue her own claims in court.

Despite the loss of the physical storefront, Moore is framing the closure as the beginning of a “new era.” In a statement to her fans, she thanked the clients who supported the salon since its grand opening in 2024 and hinted that her brand would continue in a different capacity.

“The salon chapter is closing, trust me, it’s not the end,” she shared. “It’s just the beginning of a new era. Stay tuned for what’s next!”

Moore also joked that she already has her “outfit laid out for court,” signaling that her countersuit against the landlord is her next priority. While the brick-and-mortar spa is no more, the Kenya Moore Hair Care retail line remains active and unaffected by the real estate dispute.
