FASHION: BAFTAs 2015: The Winners

THE Theory Of Everything and
The Grand Budapest Hotel were
the big winners at tonight’s BAFTA Awards in London. The Stephen Hawking biopic collected a total of three
awards, including two of the night’s top accolades – Best Actor for
Eddie Redmayne and Outstanding British Film. Hawking was greeted
with a standing ovation when he took to the stage with the film’s
leading lady, Felicity Jones, to present the Special Visual Effects
award. Jones told the audience she was “particuarly pleased to be
presenting this award with the only person on the planet more
intelligent than Stephen Fry” – referring to the award’s host – to
which Hawking responded “yes, and

better looking”.
Wes Anderson’s The  Grand  Budapest  Hotel collected a
total of five BAFTAs, while
Boyhood added to
its considerable awards haul with the Best Director and Best Film
prizes. Julianne Moore
 was named Best Actress for
her role in
Still  Alice – following
wins in the same category at the Golden Globes and the Critics
Choice Awards.
