In a shocking move just weeks before her summer trek was set to begin, Meghan Trainor has officially pulled the plug on her 33-date North American “Get In Girl” Tour. The “All About That Bass” singer took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, April 16, 2026, to share the heartbreaking news with her fans, explaining that she needed to step away from the stage to focus on her life as a mother of three.

The decision came after what Trainor described as “a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations.” This Meghan Trainor cancels Get In Girl tour news follows the birth of her third child, a daughter named Mickey, who arrived via surrogate in January 2024.

“Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now,” Trainor wrote. “I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.”

Despite the tour’s cancellation, the rollout for her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, is still moving full steam ahead. The record is scheduled to drop this Friday, April 24, 2026. Trainor released the tracklist just hours before the tour announcement, featuring the singles “Still Don’t Care” and the title track “Get In Girl.” While she won’t be performing these songs live this summer, she promised fans that the record is her proudest work to date.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour was slated to kick off on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan, with major stops including Madison Square Garden and Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena.

• Refunds: Ticketmaster and other official point-of-sale vendors have confirmed that all ticket holders will receive automatic full refunds.

• Timeline: Fans should expect to see the funds back in their accounts within 14 to 21 days.

• Opening Acts: The cancellation also affects special guests Icona Pop and Meghan’s brother, Ryan Trainor, who were set to open the shows.

While rumors of low ticket sales circulated briefly on social media, Trainor’s statement focused entirely on the mental and physical toll of “doing it all.” The pop star has been a vocal advocate for mental health and postpartum awareness, and this move reinforces her commitment to her own advice: choosing joy and family over the grind. As she told her fans, “I promise I’ll be back soon… I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now.”
