Golf legend Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. in the 200 block of Beach Road, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, which is actively investigating the scene.

The 50-year-old golfer’s condition was not immediately clear, though local fire rescue officials reported no serious injuries in the incident. A press conference with Sheriff John Budensiek is scheduled for 5 p.m. to provide additional details.

According to sources from Martin County Fire Rescue, the crash involved two vehicles, with one rolling over. One person was reported in stable condition, while another individual declined transport to the hospital. Officials stated there were no injuries reported at the scene.

Photographs from the scene captured by local media showed a vehicle resting on its driver’s side along Beach Road, a quiet residential street on Jupiter Island where Woods has owned property since 2007. The area is known for its waterfront mansions and privacy.

The crash comes just days after Woods made his return to competition in the TGL Finals in Palm Beach, his first competitive appearance since rupturing his Achilles in March 2025 and undergoing lumbar disc replacement surgery last October . Following the loss, Woods spoke openly about the physical challenges he continues to face.

“Sometimes I have good days, sometimes I have bad days,” he said this week of his overall health. “This body doesn’t recover like it did when I was 24 or 25” .

Speculation about Woods’ potential participation in the Masters at Augusta National next month has been swirling for weeks. The 15-time major champion has lifetime eligibility as a five-time winner of the green jacket. However, President Donald Trump weighed in on Thursday, stating that while Woods will be at Augusta, he will not be competing .

Woods himself has left the door slightly ajar. “I want to play,” he said after the TGL Finals. “I’ve loved the tournament since I was 19 years old. I’m going to be there either way” .

This marks Woods’ second highly publicized car incident. In February 2021, he suffered devastating injuries in a rollover crash in California that shattered his right leg and nearly led to amputation. That crash was ultimately attributed to excessive speed .

As sheriff’s officials continue their investigation, the focus for Woods’ fans and the golf community remains on his recovery and what comes next.
