Popular social media critic Radiogad has surprised many by openly switching his stance to support Davido after previously dragging the singer online.
The media personality, who had earlier criticized Davido’s upcoming album and suggested he should retire from music, took to social media to shower praises on the singer.
In a recent post, Radiogad described Davido as “the most hardworking artist in Nigerian entertainment history” and “the most consistent artist ever.”
He further pledged his full support for Davido’s fifth studio album, calling it the “biggest album ever” that will “break boundaries.”
Radiogad confessed that his earlier criticisms were only a tactic to gain Davido’s attention, admitting that he had always been a fan but wanted the singer to notice him.
He wrote:
“I’ve always been a 30BG fan from day one… All I did was to get Davido’s attention, and I’m glad I finally got it. Davido is the most hardworking artiste I know, and I will always support and stand by him. 30BG for life ❤️🔥.”
The sudden U-turn has sparked mixed reactions online, with some applauding Radiogad’s honesty, while others accused him of clout chasing.
