Lady Gaga has done it again! The pop icon just secured her first No. 1 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart in over a decade with her latest hit, “Die With a Smile.” The track, which previously sat at No. 2, climbed to the top this week, marking Gaga’s third career leader on the chart after “Paparazzi” and “Born This Way.”
A Long-Awaited Comeback
Gaga’s last time at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart was back in April 2011 with “Born This Way.” Since then, she’s delivered multiple top 10 hits, but none had reached the summit—until now.
But Gaga isn’t the only one making waves. Bruno Mars also earned his 10th No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart with “Die With a Smile,” extending his lead over Gaga in this category. Mars has also accumulated 20 top 10 hits, while Gaga now has 12—a number that could grow even more with her new album dropping next month.
Dominating the Charts
“Die With a Smile” isn’t just ruling the airwaves—it’s crushing multiple Billboard charts:
✅ No. 1 on the Hot 100
✅ No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200
✅ Top 5 across Billboard’s pop radio charts
The song currently sits at No. 2 on both Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay and holds No. 5 on the Adult Contemporary chart—its highest position there so far.
What’s Next for Gaga?
With a new album on the way, Lady Gaga is proving that she’s still a dominant force in pop music. If “Die With a Smile” is any indication, we might be looking at another chart-topping era for Mother Monster.
