Nigerian music star Asake is at the center of fresh controversy following claims by his former tour promoter, Tunde Phoenix (Baba T), regarding his alleged relationship with India Love, a model and social media influencer.
Baba T’s Fallout With Asake
The drama reportedly began when Asake removed Baba T from his team, leading to a series of online jabs from the former promoter. The controversy intensified after photos of Asake and India Love surfaced online, sparking speculation about a romantic connection. Fans quickly compared the alleged relationship to Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey’s past high-profile romance.
Baba T’s Response: “It’s Fake!”
Taking to his Instagram story, Baba T mocked Asake, accusing him of staging the relationship for publicity.
“Comparison Marketing. Please tell Alexa to stop, it’s making you look desperate out here,” he wrote alongside a photo of Asake and India Love.
He went on to criticize the promotional rollout, suggesting that the alleged romance was a poorly planned PR stunt.
“Dead rollout. A rollout is dead when you can smell it from a mile. Stanks just drop song e sweet small. Una sit down for meeting, this is the best idea? Military finds love in America.”
Baba T further dismissed the relationship, claiming Asake was trying to replicate Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey’s impact but failed.
“This is the effect they are looking for. But Na Error.”
India Love Shuts Down Rumors
To further undermine the dating speculations, Baba T shared a screenshot of India Love’s comment, where she reportedly denied being in a relationship with Asake.
“She don confess,” Baba T captioned the post, insinuating that the entire romance narrative was a publicity stunt gone wrong.
With neither Asake nor India Love officially addressing the controversy, fans remain divided on whether the romance is real or just a marketing gimmick.
