Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has raised alarm after the Ogun State government sealed his uncompleted building and hotel in Sango-Ota over alleged illegal development.
Sharing his frustration on Instagram, the Zazu Zeh crooner claimed that government officials detained over 20 of his customers and artists, confiscated cars, bikes, and even seized drinks from his Odowgu Bar and Food.
“Why Will Govt Do This to My Property?” – Portable
In an emotional rant, Portable questioned the government’s actions, stating:
“I am using this place to book events and shows, not just for drinks. I am promoting and helping people. Why would they seal my property, which I use to feed my family?”
He also alleged that officials later attacked him at another location, but he remains undeterred.
Ogun Govt Yet to Respond
As of the time of this report, the Ogun State Planning and Development Authority has not issued an official statement addressing Portable’s claims.
