Kanye West is back on X (formerly Twitter)—and in true Ye fashion, he made sure everyone knew it. The rapper returned on Saturday night with a series of controversial posts, thanking the Grammys, praising Donald Trump, and taking jabs at Kamala Harris.
Kanye’s Take on Politics & the Grammys
In one of his most talked-about posts, Ye celebrated his return to billionaire status while expressing his support for Trump. “Trump’s back in office. Ye’s back a billionaire. The world might just be ok,” he wrote.
He also trolled Kamala Harris, referencing her loss in the 2024 election. In a since-deleted post, he wrote:
“I used to want to f** Kamala until she lost. I don’t f*** losers anymore.”*
After backlash, he followed up with a sarcastic apology:
“The Democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw I’m kidding. Dey don’t control Black people no more. Trump 4 life.”
However, he later softened his tone, saying, “Kamala seems like a very nice human. I just wanna say sorry to her kids.”
Kanye & Elon Musk’s Text Exchange
In a surprising twist, Ye also shared private texts between himself and Elon Musk. The X owner gave Kanye advice on promoting his products on the platform, saying:
“Anything real and cool works.”
To which Ye responded: “Oh. Like me,” adding a laughing emoji.
Music & NBA Distractions
Despite his fiery return, Kanye’s posts were quickly overshadowed by ESPN’s Shams Charania, who reported that the Los Angeles Lakers were trading Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks for Luka Dončić. As sports fans flooded X with reactions, Kanye chimed in:
“I don’t keep up with sports. Who’s ready for the NBA Finals next week?”
Meanwhile, Ye continues to tease his upcoming solo album, “Bully”, but has yet to announce an official release date.
Final Thoughts
With Kanye back on X, it’s safe to say his presence will remain as unpredictable as ever. Love him or hate him, Ye knows how to dominate the headlines.
