DJ Khaled is ringing in the new year with a huge win, receiving 17 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for several of his iconic songs and albums. The list includes his 8x Platinum hit “Wild Thoughts” with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, and multiple 5x Platinum awards for hits like “I’m On One” featuring Drake, Rick Ross, and Wayne, and “EVERY CHANCE I GET” with Lil Baby and Lil Durk.
These accomplishments come hot on the heels of his Diamond plaque for “I’m the One” in December, marking an epic month of success. Other notable certifications include Platinum awards for tracks like “Take It To The Head” and “No New Friends”, as well as Gold certifications for songs like “Beautiful” with Future and SZA, and “SORRY NOT SORRY” with Nas, JAY-Z, and James Fauntleroy.
Khaled took to Instagram to share his excitement: “Thank you for over 20 years of riding with me, supporting @wethebest and spreading LOVE! 75 MILLION RECORDS SOLD! And counting! Bless up @riaa_awards and all my partners!”
But that’s not all—Khaled was honored with DJ Khaled Day in Miami back in May, a testament to his contributions to music and the local community. In his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude for the honor, saying, “May 8th is officially DJ Khaled Day! Thank you 305! I’m inspired and I hope to inspire the next generation.”
With his philanthropic efforts through the We The Best Foundation, DJ Khaled continues to make waves both in music and the community. Fans can expect even more from the mogul, as he teased: “I been enjoying FAMILY TIME and that’s ALL THE TIME but I also been cooking! Just wait til I show you… GET YOUR POPCORN.”
As Khaled continues to break records and inspire, the journey is far from over—stay tuned for what’s next!
