The second half escalated with Jude Bellingham missing a penalty and Kylian Mbappé having a goal disallowed for offside. The intensity peaked when Vinicius was sent off following an altercation with Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski.
Despite being reduced to 10 men, Real Madrid showcased their resilience. Luka Modric came off the bench to equalize in the 85th minute, and Jude Bellingham redeemed his earlier miss by netting the winning goal in added time, securing Real Madrid’s position at the top of La Liga.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti defended the Brazilian winger, insisting the red card was unwarranted. He revealed that Real Madrid will appeal the decision, arguing that Dimitrievski instigated the altercation.
“It was not a red card for Vinicius Jr. We will appeal,” said Ancelotti. “The goalkeeper pushed him, and Vini responded. It should’ve been a yellow for both, and that’s it.”
