Cardi B is embracing her roots and getting ready for a big change. The Bronx-native rapper revealed over the weekend on X that she’s done with her Atlanta residence and is looking to unload her lavish estate. In a response to a compliment on her Georgia home, which features a stunning backyard pool and castle-like architecture, Cardi made it clear: “My casa….. I don’t want it nomore tho.”
When fans asked why she no longer wanted the property, Cardi explained she just doesn’t enjoy living outside of New York. “I don’t like living in Atlanta ….i actually don’t like living nowhere else but NY,” she shared.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, who purchased the five-bedroom mansion in 2019 for over $5 million, also owns homes in New Jersey and the Dominican Republic. Cardi’s personal life has been marked by her ongoing relationship dynamics with estranged husband Offset, with whom she shares three children. Cardi filed for divorce from Offset again earlier this year.
Although Cardi is ready to move on from the mansion, another famous name is showing interest. The mansion caught the attention of Rick Ross, who asked about the asking price in the comments section of a blog repost. “Asking price??” the MMG mogul inquired, sparking speculation that the rapper and real estate mogul might be looking to add another luxury property to his extensive collection.
Rick Ross, known for his impressive real estate portfolio, including the 109-room estate that once belonged to boxing legend Evander Holyfield, might be the perfect buyer. He’s also purchased other high-profile homes, such as Meek Mill’s former Atlanta residence, for $4.2 million in 2023.
As Cardi B prepares to settle back in the Big Apple, it seems the Atlanta mansion might be the next big piece of real estate to change hands.
