Arsenal’s star winger, Bukayo Saka, has shared an encouraging update on his recovery following surgery for a hamstring injury. The 22-year-old was forced off in the 24th minute during Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace on December 20, and will be sidelined for several months.
Posting from his hospital bed on Instagram, Saka reflected on his journey with a hopeful message: “The majority see obstacles, but few see the opportunities. Recovery has begun and I’m coming back stronger! Thank you all for your messages.”
Despite his absence, Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town in their first match without Saka and will face Brentford on New Year’s Day without their key player. So far this season, Saka has been in excellent form, contributing nine goals and 13 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions. Fans will be eagerly awaiting his return to action.
