While it’s been a decade since his last album, Animal Ambition (2014), 50 has kept fans engaged with singles tied to his hit TV franchises Power and BMF, such as “Power Powder Respect” featuring Lil Durk and Jeremih, and “Wish Me Luck” with Snoop Dogg, Moneybagg Yo, and Charlie Wilson.
Excitingly, this Friday (December 13), 50 Cent will drop a massive collaboration as part of Snoop Dogg’s upcoming album Missionary, produced entirely by Dr. Dre. The track, titled “Gunz N Smoke,” unites hip-hop heavyweights Snoop, Dre, 50, and Eminem for the first time in a single song—a historic moment for fans of the genre.
This announcement comes amid lingering speculation about a new 50 Cent album, fueled by his 2023 tease about studio sessions with Eminem and Dr. Dre. “Dre’s got some crazy stuff for me,” 50 had said last year, hinting at a creative process that involves bringing his best work to Dre for collaboration. Eminem has also been vocal about wanting a new 50 Cent album, even suggesting the possibility of a joint project between the two.
