50 Cent has once again taken a jab at his longtime rival, Diddy, as the embattled music mogul faces ongoing legal troubles. Diddy, who is currently detained at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaits trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, along with multiple lawsuits alleging sexual assault and abuse.
Diddy’s Lawyer Wants Out
Recent reports reveal that Anthony Ricco, one of Diddy’s attorneys, has filed a motion to withdraw from the case. In his statement, Ricco wrote:
“Under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for Sean Combs.”
His request, however, did not include specific reasons for his departure. Sources claim that Diddy’s legal team had a dispute over trial strategy, with Ricco reportedly believing that they needed more time to prepare, while others insisted on moving forward with the scheduled May trial.
50 Cent Reacts
Never one to miss an opportunity, 50 Cent took to Instagram to comment on the latest development.
“Wait, the lawyer want to quit? What’s going on here?” he wrote, suggesting that things might be going downhill for Diddy.
Ongoing Feud with Big Meech & Lil Meech
Aside from trolling Diddy, 50 Cent is also beefing with Big Meech and his son, Lil Meech. He recently accused Lil Meech of using drugs on the set of his show, BMF, even claiming that he sent him to rehab.
