Reality TV star and media personality, Natasha Anita Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has slammed Nigerians in the UK for ignoring her in public.
The former Big Brother Naija star, who recently relocated to the United Kingdom, expressed her frustration in a video shared on social media. She revealed that despite bumping into several Nigerians, none of them greeted her, yet some secretly recorded her.

Tacha noted that white people, including a high school student and an elderly man, openly complimented her, while Nigerians simply pulled out their phones to record her without acknowledging her presence.
“You guys won’t believe that I saw so many Nigerians today, but they wouldn’t even say hi! I lost count of how many white people complimented me, but the Nigerians? They just brought out their phones to record me.”
She made it clear that while she doesn’t expect greetings from anyone, she finds it disrespectful for people to secretly film her without interacting.
“If you see me and don’t want to greet me, that’s fine. I won’t greet you either. But don’t bring out your phone to record me.”
Her statement has sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that it’s common courtesy to acknowledge celebrities in public, while others argue that public figures should expect such behavior.
