Ifeoma Okoye, wife of singer Paul Okoye, has expressed her candid thoughts on social media trolls who leave hateful comments on people’s posts for attention, recognition, or financial gain.
In a post shared on her Instagram Stories, Ifeoma didn’t mince words, calling the act of trolling “stupid.” She pointed out that not everyone is like singer Chike, who recently gifted a troll N1 million after receiving a disrespectful comment on his X handle.
“Some people think trolling is a game, but it’s not. It’s plain stupidity,” Ifeoma wrote, highlighting the negative impact such behavior can have and cautioning against expecting rewards for toxic behavior.
Her message serves as a reminder that online negativity has real consequences, and not everyone will respond as generously as Chike did.
