Reality TV star Nina Ivy has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Cubana Chief Priestand his alleged baby mama, Hellen. According to Nina, even if a DNA test confirms Cubana as the father, he cannot be forced to take responsibility for the child.

Reacting to a video of Hellen calling on the Imo State Governor to intervene, Nina Ivy stated that the situation could have been avoided if Hellen had not expected Cubana to claim the child despite knowing he was married.
“If she knew he was married with children and had no intention of claiming her or the child, then she put herself in this situation. A child should never be used to trap someone, especially when there was no real connection between them.”
She further argued that women should be financially and emotionally prepared before choosing to have a child, especially in such circumstances.

Nina also emphasized that the legal system in Nigeria does not necessarily enforce child support like in the United States.
“Even if the DNA test is done and confirms that he is the father, that doesn’t mean he will be legally forced to take responsibility for the child. Yes, I live in the U.S., but let’s be real—this isn’t the U.S., this is Nigeria.”
She pointed out that women need to think ahead before making life-altering decisions, stating that hoping a married man will change and take responsibility is unrealistic.
