Kanye West and his Yeezy brand are under fire as former teen employees seek over $2.4 million in damages, alleging a hostile work environment. The plaintiffs, aged 14 to 17, claim they were subjected to bullying based on their ethnicity and sexual orientation, exposed to explicit material, and faced degrading treatment, including being called “slaves” while working on Kanye’s streaming app for his unreleased album Vulture 2.
In a recent legal move, the teens filed for a default judgment to cover emotional distress, unpaid wages, and punitive damages. Despite the serious allegations, Kanye and his former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, have publicly denied the claims, and Yeezy representatives have not yet responded.
This case adds to Kanye’s mounting legal troubles, including a separate sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former assistant.
