British pop star Jessie J has revealed she is officially cancer-free, just weeks after publicly announcing her breast cancer diagnosis. The 37-year-old singer, known for her powerhouse vocals and candid spirit, shared the uplifting update via Instagram Stories on June 26.
“Cancer Has All Gone”
According to People, Jessie J underwent surgery shortly after her final performance at Wembley and has now received the all-clear from her doctors. Celebrating the milestone with her signature humor, she wrote in a light-hearted “pros” list:
“Cancer has all gone,”
adding, “My nipple is where it used to be.”
While her post was filled with gratitude and positivity, the singer didn’t sugarcoat the difficult parts.
Opening Up About the “Cons”
In a separate “cons” list, Jessie reflected on the tougher aspects of recovery — including physical discomfort, emotional distress, and constipation. She also shared how the experience affected her ability to be the hands-on mother she’s used to being, referencing the emotional toll cancer has taken on her.
“It’s not just about the physical battle,” she noted. “It’s the mental side too.”
A Journey Shared to Help Others
Jessie first revealed her diagnosis on June 3, explaining that she chose to go public to help herself process the situation and to be a source of support for others facing cancer.
“It’s a very dramatic way to get a boob job,” she joked at the time, promising fans a return “with massive tits and more music.”
A Performer and Fighter
Born Jessica Ellen Cornish, Jessie J rose to fame with chart-topping hits like Price Tag, Domino, and Bang Bang. Before her pop career took off, she was already performing on stage by age 11, starting with a role in Whistle Down the Wind in London’s West End.
As she continues to recover, fans are cheering her resilience, honesty, and ever-present humor. While music is still in her future, right now, Jessie J is celebrating life — and winning her biggest battle yet.
